The smallest of gestures
As our journey through life progresses a big obstacle that we all face is sickness. Whether is it upon yourself or a loved one the emotional turmoil alongside the psychical one is something we all have struggled. Within those darker days there is so much opportunity to shine light.
“Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day.”
~ Sally Koch
The smallest of gestures have the largest impacts. Whether you send someone a card wishing them good health or even offer a hug of condolences those small actions can create large impacts. However, there is one gesture that overcomes them all, one that can give a person a reason to live another day, one that can boost you into the path of recovery.
A gesture from the heart.
This is the concept that Huggme was created upon. Our products aim to simply give the person a hug. Our wonderful founder, Pauline went through a journey of cancer treatment, and noticed that the PICC line covers that were being given out were somewhat bland, boring and not as functional as they could be. This gave her a perfect opportunity to make her own.
When someone in the treatment room asked where she got it from and where they could buy one another angle of the brand began. Chemo is something that is scary and can really feel lonely but having that little reminder of hope in the world and turning something that could be seen as ugly into beautiful is an extremely powerful gift.
We are all aware of the cancer statistics and most likely know one or two people affected by it.
Our PICC line covers are a perfect way to brighten up someone’s battle and to remind them that you are always there with them even though you can’t always physically be present. Why not gift someone this small present today.
